Housed in one convenient site 5 minutes drive to the north of Halifax, the centre is proud to boast a superb artificial ski & snowboarding slope, children’s multi-storey soft play area, conservatory bar & restaurant and traditional Sportsman Inn & Carvery, perfect to relax in after a hard day’s play…

 

 

Installed in 2001, our slope is a virtual mountain for snowsports enthusiasts and is covered in the revolutionary SnowflexTM surface offering the ultimate real snow feel and comfort to participants.

The main slope is 140-metres in length, is floodlit for even more fun in the dark and both Highline and Button tow lifts to get you to the top. We also have a junior training slope for novices on which to hone their skills.

Charlie Fastrax is a in indoor leisure facility dedicated to family entertainment and comprises of a superb children’s Multi-storey Play Area (ball pool, climbing frame, slides and spooky cave); Charlie’s Conservatory Bar, where families can relax, have a drink or a bite to eat; Charlie’s Cyber Cafe, (pay as you go internet surfing) and Smartgolf, an advanced electronic golf simulator, where you can play a round of golf without getting wet!

The Sportsman is our on-site traditional English pub where we are proud to offer a range of Cask Marque accredited hand-pulled real ales and fine food in a traditional, relaxed pub setting. Families are more than welcome and we have a spacious restaurant and function room which is available for private hire.
